you *could* call me a nerd. i'm an engineer by training and a consultant by trade. i live and breath technology. think of every buzz word you have read in the last year and i'll most likely use it to describe what i do. i don't really find computers more attractive than people -- just easier to understand and deal with.
i read more than just about anyone i know. i'm one of those people who as a kid would read the entire cereal box -- ingredients included -- as i ate breakfast. i read as many business and technical magazines as i can get my hands on. i occasionally "enjoy" a technical book or something on the non-fiction side. however, my obsession is fiction -- either sci fi or fantasy.
i do enjoy traveling. consulting has really taken me a lot of places. it's true one doesn't get out much when on the job. however, that doesn't mean i never find time to enjoy the new places in which i find myself.
i've never backed down from a good arguement. maybe that's why i enjoy consulting so much -- attempting to convince someone you have the right answer to their question. it's also why i like this service so much. i not only have the opportunity to express my opinions -- of which i have many -- but i can also rate and respond to the opinions of others.
