Meiste has been a newspaper, magazine and radio and TV reporter, editor, commentator and columnist in the U.S. and abroad for more than 50 years. He holds a BA and MA in journalism from Stanford and has taught the subject at San Francisco State University. His writing on travel, movies, books, sports, the media, labor, politics, international affairs and other matters has been used by more than 350 print, broadcast ands online outlets. He's the co-author of "A Long Time Coming: The Struggle to Unionize America's Farm Workers," published by Macmillan. His long and varied experience gives him unusual insight.
