Hi! Thanks for reading my profile page. I love meeting new people on this site. Let me tell you a little bit about me and my family. Although I graduated from nursing school about eight years ago, I am just now learning I like writing better! Uh-oh! I have been married to my husband, Mike, for seven years. He works long hours every day of the week at his family's business. So, when he is home and the kids are awake, we try to spend special family time together. This usually turns into the game, we chase them around and around and around(you get the idea) the house until we catch them and tickle them. Then it all starts over! We have two children. Olivia, who is six going on 16. And, Michael, who is a 20 month terror! I am blessed to be able to be a stay at home mommy for now. They are so much fun for me! They have helped me smell the roses, delight in the sunsets and remember the pure joy of jumping in mud puddles(until I have to clean them up that is)!
For those of you who knew about Olivia's illness and treatment, I just wanted to let you know that she is doing great! She has been off of all the medications and treatments since January. Her last set of CT scans(on May 9) were all normal! She has gained 11 pounds since December and her hair is growing back(you can see on the above picture). We thank God everyday for our little miracle!
