About mridula

I have been married for five years now and my husband is a software professional. My two nephews came to stay with us in July 2003 for their studies. I love having them around.

I like playing table tennis and basketball, though these days I get very little of it. The three treks that I have done were really wonderful.

Some of the books that I found engaging: No Logo, Catch 22, Calvin and Hobbes, The Lord of the Rings, The Hobbit, Various P G Wodehouse, Three Men in a Boat and many more.

I was reading the Greenpeace website and found a few words on it extremely jolting.

Consuming ever more things is an unsatisfying and harmful way to try to be happy and fulfilled. Human happiness is not related to what people buy, but to who we are and how we relate to each other.

From Greenpeace website (paragraph 5 of the article).

Some of my Reviews that I loved writing:

My take on The Da Vinci Code"

This one is about Taj Mahal"

I loved reading The Hobbit"

I walked in Red once in Amsterdam"

Venice has been my Dream Destination since Childhood"

My last trek was a Gateway to Heaven"
