About Off-the-Bench
|
I am a college senior who put his heart and soul into the 2000 election. I am the founder and President of the College Republicans on my campus, and I write a weekly conservative column, "off-the-bench." The articles appear in a local weekly publication. One of my favorite professors presents the liberal viewpoint in an opposing column.
I plan to attend law school in the fall of 2003, hopefully the University of Pennsylvania.
Also, I am a terrific fan of the 80s, a time when Reagan was president, communism was failing, and when the hippie age had completely died, making it okay again to pursue success. Oddly enough, I was only a child during this era, so I watch a lot of 80’s programming and listen to a lot of 80s music.
I am known to talk extensively about the areas of which I have knowledge; however, I rarely engage in the typical “how’s the weather” small talk.
