I was brought in to this matrix (my favorite movie) in 1948. I'm a Texas native with world-wide travel experience. Marriage has opened the door and shut it in my face 5 times, due largely to bad choices and decisions on my part. Now I co-habitate with my cat, Josie, and occasionally with my 27-year-old son, Sean. It depends on when he's down & out. I'm a loner and an aspiring writer. With the exception of my internet activities (obviously), I'm a very private person. My favorite activities are centered around my home, my computer, the internet, and my job (customer tele-service). I'm a music freak and I collect "toys" - computer related, any home or personal electronic gadgets (digital, miniature devices, home theater, audio, home convenience, etc.). I say "collect", because they never seem to get put to a useful purpose, as I imagined they would. Interacting with people on the internet is an interesting activity for me, as well. I can gain more insight into a person's bios in one virtual exchange on the internet than I can in one year of personal interaction here on earth. That's because people tend to lower their shields on the internet. They are not worried about what you will think or say, so they say and do things online that they would never do in person. That gives you an instant picture of what this person really values in life, what they are all about. You just have to know what the indicators are (vocabulary, composition and spelling skills are one "set" of partial indicators, for example) I "shoot pool", nothing else. Eating out is something I like to do - but I am increasingly dissatisfied and critical of the service, or the lack of it; so, more and more, I am replacing restaurants with grocery store delicacies and cooking skills. I'm the best waiter I ever had. I'm an avid meat-eater, and a sweet-junkie. The only drugs I like are the ones nature intended for natural, un-doctored use, and my blood-pressure medicine (it keeps me alive). Having said all this, I now pose the question: "Why would a private loner display his bios on the internet like this?" Because I can. This is my assertion. It reinforces my concept of who I am. That's all. Did I reach my 100,000 characters yet? Never mind - 100,000 characters would only be a speck of dust in the cosmos, anyway. Actually there's only 2,441 characters - with spaces.
