I was born almost 20 years ago in the small mountain town of Keyser, West Virginia, which is where I spent the first nine years of my life. I moved to Hampton Roads, Virginia when I was 10 because my father was in the Air Force. I am now in my first senior year at Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Va, where I am sports editor for the Mace & Crown (ODU's campus newspaper) and a broadcaster for WODU 1630 AM Sports. My main interests include music (all kinds, but preferably country), the rodeo, baseball, football, golf, art, writing, anime, videogames and NASCAR (Yes, I am a Jeff Gordon fan).
I've only been into critical writing for a little over a year now, but according to many people, I've got a gift. My career goals include print and broadcast journalism, as I hope to either be a videogame journalist (which I already am) or a sports commentator for ESPN or FOX (whichever network covers NASCAR by then). I originally wanted to be a comic book artist and I may still persue that yet, but as of right now journalism is my dream.
