I'm 37 years old, and a SAHM of a beautiful little girl born in January of 2000, a gorgeous little man born March 2002, another little guy born August 2003, and our little princess born in September 2005! We get to try out and review all these new baby items on a regular basis! I wish I had found epinions when I was registering for my baby shower for my first... there are a lot of things I wish I had done differently, and I hope that after going through this four times my opinions can help out new parents!
Blah, Blah, Ratings Cakes
Yeah, I'm a stickler for details, details, details. Why? Because I'm a mom of four little kids and I don't want to have to read 25 reviews and check seven web sites to get all the information I'm looking for. I do a LOT of my shopping online, like a lot of moms here on Epinions, and I think that Kids & Family reviews need the MOST details because parents have the LEAST amount of time to get information about products they are interested in. We also often don't have a lot of time to try out every product in the store, especially with kids in tow.
What Else Do I Do Besides Epinions?
Well, like most moms, I'm a busy, busy person. I definitely don't have time to watch soaps like I always thought I would when I was little. Two of my four children have Sensory Integration Dysfunction, which I wrote about in my Epinion SID: The Hidden Disability, so I spend a lot of time taking them to therapy appointments and working with them at home. (Fellow Epinionator bonniesayers has some great information about SID as well.)
I have a nephew with PDD-NOS/ASD and two kids with Sensory Integration Dysfunction, which is often seen in kids on the autism spectrum. Look for more reviews this month on products that have helped my children and nephew, as well as facts about autism.
