Thanks for the clarification, although I figured it out when I read your rating system.

Look at mobiprof's EpiHistory reviews for more details, but R (for Recommended) was replaced by H (for Helpful) since I wrote the review. It didn't make a significant change in my rating system, although the addition of the OT and occasional MH did.

I assume these mean Not Relevant, Helpful Review, and Relevant??

If not please enlighten me, or maybe you should update the review, seams the ratings system has changed a bit since you 1st wrote it.

Mark

BTW I usually rely on my instincts, That's why I added you early.

10 Reviews huh?

I guess I better find something to write about.

I'm getting the hang of this. I am also a new user myself, and I definitely appreciate epinions about how to use this site effectively. You bring up great points on determining who goes in what bin! I suspect that after I am more familiar with this site, that I will begin using the same set of standards and rules you've described here. They're fair and reasonable. I've read several of your epinions on topics I'm interested in. I haven't read enough to add you to my WOT, but I'm getting there! You clearly have researched and have a reasonable amount of valued information about a topic before you write about it. That's also important. People seemingly lose credibility if they start writing about topics they really don't have enough information about. Great work! I look forward to reading more of your reviews. They are quite helpful!

Very good post (Reply to this comment)

You seem to have a good method of evaluating members for your wot and wod. I personally put
you on my wot because I have read some of your other reviews and liked them. I am new and
have been trying to understand the concept of wot. I have blocked 2 members for posts that seem offensive. Thank you for your informative post. Keep up the good work. I also noticed you made featured reviewer congratulations.

(No, alerts aren't back as of this morning...I decided to scan all my reviews for comments this afternoon.)

There seems to be another kind of abuser which I hadn't considered before -- I think I'll need to update this review and the rating review before I get on to attempting to update other reviews.

BTW, thank you for your trust.

I am sure he never fathomed that his words would be altered on a computer over the internet in the 21st Century.

On a serious note, I really liked this review, but what particularly stood out was the manner in which you described placing members on your WOD. I have struggled with this for a while, and I think I will follow your suggestions - I especially like randomly choosing 3 of the highest rated reviews.

In conclusion, this was a great editorial. Thank you.

I was going to say interesting. While reading this half way through I went back to see how many are on your WOT/Wod and saw you had a new not rated yet epinion. In case you were wondering how I got to it so quick.

I actually have to check out the one you reference here as well as the one you reference in the other epinion of today.

I did see the answer in the earthquake insurance epinion, reason for alerts to comments.

abuse, put other reviewers down, completely off topic and no use to anyone, plagiarizers, etc.. on my wod. I to look at a few reviews and if I see they are all the same on my wod they go without a second thought.

"If you're wondering why I choose his highest rated reviews; it's because I'm looking for abusive reading/rating/trusting circles. I've already run across 2 or 3."

I think I'll try that strategy for a while too..
