What's all of these "la la la la" and "a a a a" Epinions all about?

I occasionally enjoy browsing through the Just In section here at Epinions.com. I go there to see if anyone has recently written on anything that I'm particularly interested in, or if anyone I trust has recently written. I am usually angered beyond belief when I check the Just In section.
I realise that people who abuse Epinions.com get a 'ticket' for their misuse of the system. I think that it is sad that this has to be done, but I also know that it's necessary. There are a lot of jerks out there who find pleasure in creating havoc on sites that people really enjoy. There's nothing you can do about these people... except to try to prevent them from actually participating in the site.
At lease every other time that I check the Just In section, someone has posted a review that is nothing but one or two characters repeated over and over again until the 100 word minimum requirement is filled. I think that Epinions.com should adopt some sort of a filtration system that prevents reviews like this from being posted. I'm sick and tired of seeing idiot write reviews and simply have pasted "a a a a a a" or "la la la la la la" a hundred times on the page. Nothing angers me more. I don't know if these people simply get enjoyment out of abusing this service or what. I can't get into their mind set at all. If there was any advantage to doing it, I'd like to know what it is. What possible pleasure can come from something as stupid as that? On the other hand... maybe I myself am feeding them by ranting about their stupidity and how much it bothers me. I'm sure that the latter is true. I just don't care though.
It's too bad that a service like this can't exist without people getting pleasure out of abusing it. It is a privilege to have this medium to express our views and have them read by, in essence, anyone around the world. These people who enjoy posting these stupid messages are simply being an annoyance, taking up space, and making my head hurt!

Hey! There's much less thought and effort put into pasting "la" a hundred times instead of writing real reviews... maybe I should give it a try sometime... *grrrr*
