I am employed by a major insurance company as a database administrator. I have been in computer programming for over 36 years doing everything from old mainframe operations and programming to mid-tier and PC's. Computers have always interested me and I enjoy seeing the new technologies that come into being.
One of the things I enjoy is working with the Boy Scouts. I have been a leader for over 36 years. I teach outdoor survival, camping, cooking, and astronomy merit badges. There are so many young men that don't have a male role model and I feel that Scouting is very important in their growth process.
I'm married with two grown children, one is a restaurant manager the other works full time in a food market as asst. manager of the Seafood dept. I enjoy going to Science Fiction Conventions (especially Star Trek) and collecting science fiction comics, figures, autographs, and cards.
I'm a Vietnam Veteran having been in the U.S. Coast Guard and serving there in 1969 - 1970.
HOW I RATE.
I rate each epinion based on its own merit. I don't care whether I agree with what you've written or not. I read and rate based solely on article content and the knowledge you put in the text. Articles should be complete and accurate giving as many details about the product or service as possible. Your Epinion should be well thought out. It's very evident if you have indeed used the product or not by what you write and how you write it.
I do have a distrust list but this is reserved for those who abuse the system by writing garbage just to get reads. I will review my distrust list from time to time and will update it, if it's warranted.
I don't care if an article is 100 words or 500 words. What matters is what you say and how you say it. Review your epinions to make sure of spelling and content. Make sure it says what you want it to say.

If you're not having fun writing and reading don't do it! This is not a job but it is a valuable service to others. What you're writing about is important to people trying to make an important (and sometimes costly) decision. Be Responsible!
