I have been in the Internet industry for over 8 years, focusing on Web and Database design. I am currently a freelance designer, which allows me to work from home (whoopie!). Before freelancing, I worked for a Houston area design firm and a Nationwide Consulting firm, both of which I drew a lot of experience and knowledge from. Since I work on the computer, I have the opportunity to surf lots of sites and participate in programs such as Epinions. I try to help out the web community by sharing my knowledge and writing about can't miss sites, and sites that aren't worth the bandwidth!

I'm a movie nut, no doubt about it! Unfortunately, I haven't had the opportunity to see many new releases lately (life is very different when you have a newborn in the house!), but I have been hitting the video rental stores as often as possible. I'm a little behind on my movie reviewing, but I'll be catching up, soon!

Like Epinions wants - I'm brutally honest. It's not a popularity contest, it's keeping the internet community on their toes so they know what products and information is worth their time, and what they shouldn't even bother wasting their breath on. That's what matters - sharing your honest opinion. If I don't agree with your opinion, that doesn't mean that I'm not going to recommend it - if your review is well written and above the norm, you're going to get a high rating from me. If it's a cookie-cutter rating, well.... You get the picture. I don't stand for foul language - that's pretty much an automatic "Not Recommended" rating from me. I do not participate in "revenge ratings" and I rate on your content, not your opinion. I love reading peoples Epinions, and have learned so much from the community here. I thank you all!
