About wovengold
A native Southerner, I have lived in Alaska since 1994. I love it, even at 70 below. My husband and I bought ten acres in Two Rivers, a small community 20 miles from Fairbanks, and we call it Biddy Hollow. Here we raise chickens, pheasants gees and guinea fowl -- plus two huskies, one little yappy dog, two cockatiels and a cat (who thinks he's a guinea).

In my previous lives I have been a reporter on a small-town newspaper, publications manager for a large state government agency, silversmith, office furniture salesperson and respite caregiver for elders. At the moment, I'm agitating for peace and justice and trying to start my own jewelry design studio in the short periods of time I have for myself.
