September 1st, 2001: Hey guys, long time no see! I haven't been around here lately, but I can explain! Over the summer, I had to undergo a big surgery, and have been recovering for the last few months. Am I quitting epinions? Absolutely not! I have just not been able to write good reviews of videogames for a while... but now I can, and am staging a big comeback.
First off, I have about 15 Game Boy Advance game reviews I need to crank out. Yes, I love this little handheld more than any console right now, and have been buying/renting nearly everything for it. So expect LOTS of GBA reviews very very soon. Second, more then 30 PS2 game reviews are just waiting to be typed up (haha! Now you can see what I've been doing with my recovery period, huh? :), along with FF Chronicles and the absolutely fabulous Paper Mario.
Really though, I need to get these reviews out, because once XBox and GameCube come out (yes my friends, I'm buying them both), I'll be focusing almost completely on them... Although a Metal Gear Solid 2 review will pop-up mostly likely in late November. Anyways, please do not take me off your trust list! I am coming back! And it will be better than ever!

If you're into movies, you absolutely must check out Mike Bracken's movie reviews. They are incredibly well written, and somehow he manages to write one nearly every weekday. I don't know how he does it.
My list of great videogame writers:
Chris Billings: a great writer who writes reviews for games on several platforms.
Guile176: This guy write about it ALL. N64, PlayStation, DC, PS2, and even older console games if given half the chance. He does a darn good job at it too.
DirtyDan: Writes some fantastic Dreamcast game reviews. He also does an occasional PlayStation game review as well.
Horhay: Excellent all around game reviewer.
rader6795: The funniest game reviewer on Epinions. Yet his reviews are still top-notch. I like how he keeps an overall unbiased look at things as well.
Y2JMcDohl: Writes some incredibly long, insightful Playstation game review. He gets my vote for the best RPG writer on Epinions.
brandon2001: Where I like to go for Dreamcast reviews. They are truly great. He also posts the occasional PlayStation game review, mostly RPGs.
mskills: Ah yes, despite being an N64 hater, he is a talented game reviewer. :) He covers a variety of platforms (except N64 of course), including the PlayStation 2!
