My wonderful husband and I have lived in Austin, Texas less than two years... we moved here the week after we got married. We absolutely love Austin and expect that it will be home forever.
We are new parents to Andrew Joseph born February 2, 2001. He is amazing! We feel truly blessed and hope to have more children in the next few years. I have one deceased son who would have been twelve this year. He passed away when he was eight years old, from complications of leukemia. His life and death have impacted me more than anything in my life, and I feel like I am truly a better person because of it. The biggest lesson I have learned is to live life to the fullest, get the most out of each day possible, and not to settle. Life is just too short.
I received my bachelors degree and masters degree in Computer Science at New Mexico State University. I am a recent victim of the technology bust and welcome the opportunity to stay at home with my son.
My interests revolve around sports. My husband and I are active in triathlon. We love to ski, on both snow and water. We love to play volleyball, with sand doubles being our favorite format. We wish we had more time to scuba dive... it may be awhile with our new change in life style.
My other passion is live music, and where better to live than Austin, the live music capital of the world!
