Pros: Pays for all online time Cons: Doesn't tell how much it will pay
I do a fair amount of websurfing, and so I'm always looking for good Pay To Surf programs. My theory is this: I'm already doing it, so why not make a few dollars for nothing? My newest attempt is with DesktopDollars.Com.
The only program...

Pros: Yeah----right! Cons: Where do I begin!
I wasn't going to write any Epinions for a week or two until things at the site were back on track, however, my experience with Desktop Dollars and it's laughable "Profit Zone" requires me to comment on this program in hopes of educating...

Pros: Check the list at the end of the review. Too many to list here. Cons: Server can be unstable, and the website may run slow during peak hours. Crashes of the viewbar are most common then too.
Desktop Dollars has to be currently one of my favorite services. Unlike All Advantage which has the reliability of a broken down bus on crack, Desktop Dollars has proven time and again to be an excellent program.
Not to say they're perfect. They're...

Pros: Potentially unlimited surfing, nice payment options Cons: You never quite know what you have 'earned'
Like most pay-to-surf programs out there DesktopDollars (hereafter called DD) are constantly in a state of change, trying to get the right formula where there viewbar is more popular and will therefore get a greater percentage of the advertising dollar...

Pros: Established company chugging along Cons: Clerical errors can cause account disasters.
What could I say about DD that has not been said in previous P2S articles? They took a long time getting started but are showing potential longevity in the industry. They are paying their bills.
Which is more than most companies can say. We the...

Pros: Unlimited Surfing Hours, Pays When Not Actively Surfing-Chatting, Doing E-mail, etc Cons: Initial Payout Low, Surfing Hours Unlimited, Run It In The Background
Updated 06/22/00. Desktop Dollars (Viewbar Pay To Surf) is going with the "profitsharing" model to pay their members. This viewbar has been released and is available Immediately, Internationally.
Meaning, they'll tally up the...

Pros: I haven't seen any yet Cons: Lousy software leaves you with big block on your screen
I may change my mind on this one once they get fully underway but something tells me a start as bad as this won't be overcome.
Their software stinks. You end up with a bar you can't move. It covers up any window you are working in which...

Pros: Free, you make a few cents Cons: ugly, ambiguous, not user friendly
Well, Im back again, and im frustrated again too. :) I dunno, perhaps its just my apathetic nature or my lack of patience, but if you here one thing from me on this review, please stay away from desktop dollars unless you dont mind waiting about 30...

Pros: Well...the website looks great! Cons: Low payout, unsure of payout rates, annoying ad bar, should I go on?
Okay, I'm a damned liar. So, maybe you won't make thousands...or hundreds, or even single digit dollars with this poor excuse for a surf for pay site...you WILL, however, be highly annoyed. I have to guarantee something, right?
As...

Pros: Unlimited hours, good downline, near realtime statistics Cons: Payout is very, very poor
Lately, I've been very interested in the entire get paid-2-surf the web concept that AllAdvantage revolutionized in late 1999. DesktopDollars is a similar type program, you get paid based on how many hours you surf the web using a similar viewbar which...

Pros: $.50 and hour, easy to use, reliable Cons: need to login, periodic logoffs
Desktop dollars is another in the long run of All Advantage knock-offs that pay you to surf the web. Like All Advantage, they claim to pay a flat rate of $.50 an hour and $.10 an hour for referrals. And, like All Advantage, you have to put up with a...

Pros: =========== Cons: ===========
DesktopDollars.com is similar to the other view bars out there on the web. Registration is FREE and the required software to run the view bar is FREE.
As more and more of these paying web sites crop up - the...

Pros: None Cons: Everything, you surf for hours for a penny or two
So about a year ago I was really into surf for cash, and I found this program to be the best at that time.
Letting you earn .50 cents an hour adds up when your on the internet quite a bit.
The ViewBar that they provide you is better than any...

I am Searching for the best get paid to surf programs on the internet and will usually try any of them once, twice if I like 'em. That is why I tried Desktop Dollars' Profitzone pay bar. There a lot of things that I like about this program....
