The Worst Customer Service Ever

I ordered a crib mattress from BabyAge in November 2004. It is now January 2005 and I have not received anything. The 800 number is never answered. I did receive an unprofessional call from someone who said there was a problem but to-date I not heard back again. No product, no replacement, no credit. This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced. They do not even answer the sales extention. I urge you to never use BabyAge - its the worst.

Order a car seat on 12/30/2004. Never shipping after 6 days.Call customer support, nobody answer but a full message box. Email customer support no reply either.
The high rating of this reseller is not real, it is faked.
Many low rating complained about the same experience of mine. Take care!!!!!!

I tried to order a car seat. No response to e-mail or phone call. Customer service is non existent. There seems to be a problem with my order which they can't seem to solve. I decided not to deal with babyage.com since they are too busy to deal with customers.

I am so happy with babyage.com.They got my order right and it was delivered on Christmas Eve, 4 days sooner than it was supposed to be! Awesome! The box was a little banged up, but the car seat I ordered was in perfect condition. I would definitely shop here again and I totally recommend this store.

I ordered the stokke kinderszeat and cushion from babyage because I was attracted by the 5.95 flate rate shipping. The seat arrived within a week, but after two weeks I had not heard about the cushion. I filled in the customer service form three times before they finally emailed back to let me know that the cushion was on backorder. Before they emailed me back I called, but their phone system was just looping me back into the main menu when I pressed 2 to reach customer service. So I've waited two weeks and now I have no cushion.

Terrible delays, difficult to reach customer service

My order was delayed twice (placed a reorder when the first item was discovered to be out of stock, in spite of the fact that it was listed "in stock" on the website order form) - nearly impossible to reach a live customer service agent. Their email responses were conflicting and slow in coming. Very poor experience all around.

Ordered carseat on 11/16/04 arrived on 11/23 to find out a wrong item was shipped.Called 6 times -nobody returns phone calls, e-mailed 5 times received reply but not really answered my questions.Now, must wait for them to receive wrong item and they would correct the order. I canceled my order altogether.

All I can say is I have not yet found better rates anywhere else on the web. This is a great site and I don't think I would order from anywhere else. They have flat rate shipping even for oversized items and if they don't have what you want they will try to find it. It's a great way to order anything for baby.

Baby Age did not offer me free shipping when I ordered a Britax Marathon Car Seat for $214.99. I don't know if I was supposed to enter a coupon code or something. At least it was only $5.95.

I had an excellent experience with BabyAge. I ordered the car seat about 12 noon yesterday and today I received it at about 1:30 pm via ups($5.95shipping). I have never have anything delivered this fast. The car seat was exactly as specified and arrived in excellent condition. For $122.00 it was well worth the price!

I think BabyAge is a wonderful site and I have saved over $500 shopping there for my first baby. Everything I have ordered has arrived on time, even the special orders. When I have called customer service, I have had to hold for a few minutes, but each time they have been helpful.
The thing that most impressed me, however, is how they dealt with a problem I had with a crib. The crib manufacturer changed the specifications so I got a crib that was different from the one I wanted. The manufacturer didn't even tell BabyAge about the change! When I called BabyAge, they immediately called the manufacturer on my behalf. They weren't able to force the manufacturer to do the right thing, but they credited my credit card 10% to apologize for something that wasn't their fault. Also, they fixed their web page within fifteen minutes so no other customers would be duped. I thought this was terrific customer service and I would feel confident buying from BabyAge at any time.

A very poor on-line shopping experience:
Their website listed an item as in stock when it was not.
They charged my credit card before they received stock.
They happily canceled the order for the back-ordered item,
but failed to credit my bankcard account.

BabyAge had the lowest price on the car seat and shipped it for free. I ordered it late Thursday afternoon and they shipped it the same day. They sent me a tracking number immediately and it arrived on Saturday morning! Very good experience!

Overall my shopping experience with Babyage was excellent. My only gripe was that although my credit card company authorised the transaction Babyage was unable to accept payment from a UK credit card even though the shipping address was here in the US. That aside, after using my husband's US debit card the goods were delivered promptly and without any hiccups.

Items were well priced and arrived quickly. The items were packed poorly. They just threw the monitor and thermometer in with car seat with no padding to keep everything from bouncing around. Luckily the car seat wasn't a gift-I would have hated to open the box. This was my second time ordering from Babyage. The first time I had a great experience.
