Great prices and service. Shipping can take a little while but then again it's free so can't complain about that! They have lots of obscure titles, too, and don't charge you until an item is shipped if it's out of stock. I'll definitely shop here for all my DVD purchases - beats the hell out of retail!

Wrestlemania Anthology was my first Deep Discount DVD purchase. Although they were on a brief backorder, a week later, i still had it in the mail. It was speedy and very accurate. The item was delivered in beautiful shape and my experience was just wonderful with them and plan to do more business with them down the road. I love the cheaper prices as well as the free delivery. Great job. I was able to save $50-70. Thank you!

I ordered Tiger Woods 2005 for Xbox over two weeks ago. The email I received said that the game was on backorder and that I wouldn't receive the game until July 15. I emailed them to cancel my order and they told me that I couldn't. Exactly why can't I? They said they just happen to find a few copies of the game and they they would now ship it. A few days later I got an email saying that the game shipped on 6/30/05. It's now 6/8/05 and still no game. I know that's only 8 days from the day it shipped but that's still a long time. If I would have known it would have taken this long or I couldn't cancel my order then I would not have ordered from them. I know to never order from them again.

Deep Discount DVD has lousy customer service and they even go the extra mile to antagonize their good customers with their replacement policies for damaged discs. On no less than three occasions I have received damaged dvds from them (the disc has come off of its storage spindle during or prior to shipping causing the disc to be scratched). After promptly asking for a replacement on each one, I have been told that one would not be shipped until the damaged one was returned. Shipping takes 10 days to 2 weeks each way, so getting a replacement for a damaged disc can take up to 6 weeks. Rather than apologizing for shipping a damaged disc and getting out a replacement right away, these jerks want their damaged disc back first before they will issue a replacement. I did a lot of business with them for over a year before deciding enough is enough. I'll find dvds at comparable prices elsewhere and find someone who handles customer service the right way.

I placed an order over a month ago, my credit card was billed but I have not received my item. I have sent two e-mails asking for status. I received no response. This is my first and last order from this company.

A pleasant google surprise when I searched for discount movies. I found this website and was pleasantly surprised with the variety (of hard to find videos) and the ease of ordering. Terrific prices with a wide assortment of movies to pick from.

I have ordered from them in the past will do so in the future.

"Deep Discount DVD", usually offers the lowest price on DVDs. Shipping tends to be slow, but since shipping is free, I don't complain. If you need faster shipment, delivery upgrades are not expensive. I have purchased from them several times and never had a problem.

Put in a order on 11/24/06 everything was in stock
Called was told order is in will be shipped.
Just checked my order on 12/9/06 most are on back order
and some are canceled.

I called and told them it would be nice it they would have
emailed me or called me about the canceled & back order

I was told if I ordered by phone or Internet. That you should order by phone so you know your order will be sent

Just canceled the whole order with Beth told her to send me
a email that it has been canceled & that I will be also calling my Credit Card Customer.

Never Again

They started out pretty well, but then mistake after mistake was made. Emailing their customer service did "Nothing" to correct the Problem. I preordered a few items. They sent me the wrong DVD. The said they would send me a prepaid shipping label, which Never arrived. Finally they said they could email it (go Figure). After all the trouble experienced, I canceled all of the remaining items on order.. they proceeded to send out the next item, 2 weeks later anyway. Then when I finally got them to email me another return label, the supervisor, who I am convinced is someone's relative there since she obviously had no idea how to do her job, claimed that the item Never arrived back to them even though it had been a month later. Don't waste your time here, DVD Empire is just as cheap and their Customer Service is much better.

I'm constantly amazed that so few people have heard of this site. Who knew you could find low-priced DVDs with free shipping?

Granted, the free shipping option means USPS media mail, but they use sturdy envelopes and email immediately if there's any delay.

One lost shipment (2002) was refunded to my credit card with no fuss, and their customer service is responsive and friendly.

Iv shopped at this site for five years now and have had no major problems some minor ones that were fixed right away or next day Iv read some reviews complain about customer service but really consider this every major online store that I dealt with Amazon.com included had poor customer service none of them hardly respond to your question if at all. Delivery speed standard 5 days the accuracy is up to you pretty much its simple and like all online stores they leave you the option to delete an item and after sending your order they send you an email invoice so you can look it over but more often than not I was satisfied that my order went smoothly no hassles.

My review on this website is because I have NOT bought from them, and this is why.

It took me ONE visit to realize the website name belongs in the hall of fame for bull crap. First of all they charge 21.99$ for most of their DVD'S, 9.99$ for really old cheap things. At Walmart their dvds are from 15 to 19.99$ and yet this site claims they are cheap?! They also claim the price they compete with is 29.95$ I dont know where the heck their doing their shopping, but it sure isn't where I go.

This is NO DISCOUNT. Ebay is a discount, BEST BUY is a discount compared to these people.

I've been using Deep Discount DVD for a few years, and have always been happy with them, and would recommend them to anyone.

I love the free shipping! I don't hesitate to order just one DVD because there is no shipping or handling charge per order.

I've done a number of preorders, and usually get them a day or two before the local stores have them.

I've never had an inaccurate shipment.

The only gripe I have is that sometimes their website gets bogged down.

Of all the websites I have shopped at this one is the worst for delivery. I have placed 2 orders and each time have had to email their customer service to find out where the goods have gone. The first order eventually arrived mind you, and all in good order.
However, on this second AND LAST occasion, I have now been waiting over one month for delivery of 4 dvd's. Even to Australia that is an unduly long time and have not encountered such slow delivery of goods from any other USA website. They must be coming by ship !!
Seriously, it's very frustrating and of course my credit card was charged which makes it more annoying!!
I remain hopeful that goods will get here at some stage but it's doubtful I'll give this company a third try !

I was impressed with the price but the delivery time was ridiculous. I wasn't even notified that the item was to be shipped until 10 days after the order was placed. The DVD wasn't received until 15 days after that.
