If you are thinking about buying a computer online, then Dell is a good bet. They carry a good product, the pages are easy to use, back up is available by phone, and the prices are OK.
Not quite as good an experience as I remember it being when I bought my previous Dell in 2000. But, still a positive experience overall despite some rather quaint practices and questionable rules with regard to the use of gift cards in conjunction with other Dell offers. Read more

The shopping experience was okay but when I recieved my computer the keyboard did not work. Also when I tried to connect the new computer to my old dell printer there were alot of problems. I was on the phone with tech support for over four hours trying to get the issue resolved. Read more

Dell is great. The problem I had was in the shipping (UPS) and not Dell. Dell rectified the problem immediately.

The delay between the order and the actual shipping is too long. My PC will be shipped November 7 but was ordered October 23.
We are not talking about a car with EPA regulations. It's a small PC.
Incidentally, I checked "no" on question 2 not because I received it in poor condition, but because I had not received it yet. You should have a third answer that someone can check in cases like mine. Read more
