With the exception of an anoying single pixel that doesn't work right in the upper lefthand corner of the laptop screen, (which I know has nothing to do with the shopping experience so much as it does with dell's product,)over all I found The online store was pretty easy to navagate around. Found what I was looking for relatively quickly. It was Realy easy to use the online store I felt.

I am dissapointed in the time it is taking to recieve my order. I could have purchased a similar item for a similar price in a retail store and would have had it by now. It seems it will take over three weeks for me to recieve my order.

The website lead me to believe the hard drive I purchased could be installed in my Dell computer, however when I received the item I discovered it was incompatible. I have to return the item and get another hard drive.
The website asked for my express service code to determine the model of my laptop, so I don't understand how the website could have been wrong.

i love how the site asks specific questions about your computer/printer and then only brings up what works with that particular model. very helpful so that you don't choose the wrong items. And it also remembers what you purchased before. also helpful.

Have attempted to make several on-line purchases--all failed
orders get canceled/lost by Dell--cannot get any acceptable
customer support--Have to buy products from other suppliers
and they make it easy.. GOODBYE DELL!!

Order summary screens and confirmation e-mails didn't detail cost by item for extras, nor did they indicate that machine would have XP preloaded, which is why I was buying computer (it did have XP preloaded when it arrived). Computer was sent to billing address not shipping address! When I called about this I was disconnected twice and gave up. People answering phone were obviously in India, not knowledgable, working from script.
