The original computer, which was from an E-value code, was saved in my cart and had a clear exp. date, which I checked several times. One day BEFORE it was set to expire, I tried to order and their system said it was no longer valid. After speaking with a sales rep, he tried, but said he was unable to honor it. I believe this was a programming error on Dell's part, which was corrected sometime after it was in my cart. It should have been honored. If this item wasn't for someone else, I would have ordered elsewhere.

I was forced to deal with all the ignorance and attitudes and indifference of all but the last person that finnally got my order through. I was and still am interested in a new laptop computer but the people I spoke with at dell made me eliminate DELL from any consideration for this purchase.

I got 2 automated phone calls. I WAITED a couple minutes for a real person to answer the first one because I thought they had questions or needed to validate the order. All I got was some guy trying to sell me more stuff. This was a waste of my time and really made me ANGRY. Then the next day I got an automated call, just like the first. I hung up.
I'm sure folks will continue to buy more stuff this way, but it stinks.

Could not make the on-line order work correctly to ship to an address different from the billing address. I followed the directions exactly and even listed to the annoying help tutorial which instructed me to make selections from a menu that did not exist. If you want to be successful in this business your on-line ordering system needs to work as well as Amazon.com
