I have never had a negative issue with ordering my tickets online with NWA. The airline is efficient and organized. Please know that while at the airport you must be prepared to be independent and know your schedule!

From beginning to end, worst flying experience ever. Just a warning: if you ever need assistance, you will not get it from Northwest's rude employees. They just don't care. Check out the Minnesota Better Business Bureau report on Northwest (www.mnd.bbb.org). They have an unsatisfactory record with the Bureau due to a pattern of complaints.

I was to fly out of a small airport in the morning a few months ago, and the NWA flight did not make because of "no crew available." NWA did inform me of this by phone the night before, in time for me to adjust.

I called the reservations number, and after a long wait on the phone, got re-instated to the Memphis to DCA leg of the flight. So, I drove to Memphis at extra cost that evening to catch the flight there the next morning. This did inconvenience me greatly, so I wrote a letter to NWA explaining the problem in detail (...NOT an email, guys).

Not only did they refund the cost for the 'leg that did not fly,' but they added a generous amount of frequent flier miles to my account. They also explained to me exactly what happened and why it happened.

I fly Northwest A LOT, and my faith in the company has been enhanced by the excellent service I received.
