No Refunds for two items NEVER delivered.

I placed and order 4/18/08 for five items, received three of them within a week, the rest they said would be shipped directly from Fox b/c they were having problems with Fox products. Called back after a month, never could get anyone to answer the phone.  In May, June, July, August and September I submitted website help desk requests, left voice mails, filed a PayPal claim, no answer on anything. Now their site is shut down and I'm out $107.08. Filed a complaint through the BBV 11/18/08, we'll see what happens. I'll never order from them again even if they turn things around AND I get my refund.

I have never seen such a borderline mail fraud operation as this.

For over a year I have not been able to resolve a problem with this company.

Placed an order for an item that they claimed they had in stock, they charged me and then the problem started.

No product, no response to a lot of emails, run around when you could get anyone to answer the phone.

Once they even sent a check to refund my money and it BOUNCED!

resorted to the BBB in CA and reported to the DA (Consumer protection office there). They were apparently having problems due to numerous complaints. To date never resolved yet.

Be WARNED, don't do business with this company!

RIDEGEAR was horrible to deal with. I ordered a helmet and gloves and weeks later nothing... Their customer service is non-existent as no one ever answers their phone or returns messages. This company is very poorly run and should be put out of business. I then read on their website that 'Orders Cannot Be Cancelled' What the ****? Once you order with them you are forced to wait upon their poorly run business. I never got the stuff after a month of waiting and had to cancel my credit card so they would not continue to charge it. I WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY AGAIN!

I'm a big internet shopper and this site is the WORST I've ever dealt with! I placed an order in April 08, it's now Aug and I still haven't gotten it. I've had many emails back and forth with them and of course making calls (paying long distance, only to get hung up after 10mins of waiting). So finally in June I emailed and canceled my order stating 3 months was long enough to wait. In July I get an email stating they can't cancel my order because it's in their system and I can just refuse the package when it comes to my door, they will refund me minus my $25 shipping (I'm in Canada).Well, it's now a month later and still nothing! This site is outrageous, by the time I get my gear our riding season will be over! I wish I had read all the other reviews before I order. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS SITE!! Your time and energy are worth paying extra on another site....

Ride Gear is horrible. I bought some motocross boots and a jersey. You won't be able to utilize the checkout code to get the as advertised sale price. The sale price that they put next to the items is somehow nullified by a tiny disclaimer line at the bottom of the page that says something to the effect of sale does not include: Then it begins to list pretty much every brand that makes motocross stuff. He told me I need to read the fine print. A real Kosher operation. Then on top of that, you will wait weeks for your order.

Ordered tank bag. They charged my credit card. Recieved email 1 1/2 months later telling me it was no longer available but I could place an order for other merchandise using the store credit. I have been trying to get ahold of them through email or phone ever since. It's impossible. Can't get through on the phone no matter when I call. The phone number in the email is disconnected. No response to emails. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM!!! Never got any merchandise and now cannot get my money back!

Waiting 3 months for a refund.

I ordered a pair of motorcycle pants. The pants have removable protective padding on the knees, but the padding hung down on my shins instead of covering my knees. I emailed RideGear, got an RMA number, and sent the pants back. That was three months ago, and I am still trying to get my refund.

It is impossible to get them on the phone. I get a recording saying they are busy, please leave a message at the tone, but there is no tone; the connection just goes dead. I have sent many, many emails, which they respond to by issuing a "ticket id". At one point they claimed that PayPal is slow issuing refunds, but of course PayPal denies this.

Also fyi, PayPal has been completely useless in trying to resolve this. I filed a complaint with them, which was rejected. Apparently they dont get involved unless you don't receive ANYTHING from the merchant.

Just got off the phone for the (lost count) time. Got booted off automated system after 10 minutes as usual. Countless emails ignored. Placed order 1/08 payed through paypal $102.89. After run around no merchandise. Finally ordered thru Dennis Kirk-same stuff/price & rec. within 10 days. Will now begin search for ways/places to file a complaint since I believed that they would come thru and lost my 45 day paypal dispute window. Learn from my experience especially since I'm old enough to know better.

Crooks, Frauds, thievs, scumbags. Yup, that about describes ridegear.com and their cover company cyclegear.com. How does a company that can't fill orders keep taking orders???? Because they are "covered" by cyclegear.com, but that's BS. DO NOT TRUST EITHER OF THESE COMPANIES.

I placed an order 06-13-08. I did not hear from them at all so I decided to contact them to find out what was happening. I sent 5 emails and not one was answered, so I tried to call and nothing. I can't even cancel the transaction. Here I am a week after, without knowing what is going to happen.

I also placed an order a month ago. Emailed them to get an order status with no response except a computer generated one. Without answers to my questions. I have called for 3 weeks now with no answer, just a recording and then after 10 minutes I get disconnected. They never charged my card, so I called the credit card company and got a different card with a different #. I would not recommend ridegear.com

THESE GUYS ARE FAKE!! Don't buy anything from them no matter how good of a deal you think is it. This company is a HUGE SCAM! I bought 2 helmets and never received them. I attempted numerous times communication through email and phone with absolutely no responses. F**K these guys and their terrible ways of stealing money from honest people looking for a good deal. Spread the word that RideGear.com is not a reputable internet shop. We need to get them off the net.

This is a scam web site. You will never get your parts and they will never return your phone calls or emails. They don't even seem to answer BBB contacts. Stay away from these guys.

Want to verify this? Try calling their customer service department. They just hang up on you, they won't talk to you.

Ordered in March using my paypal account. Never heard from them. I called/emailed several times. Finally got through and was told there was a problem with the order. Missed the 45 days to challenge through paypal. Filed a report at www.ic3.gov.

I ordered from ridegear almost two months ago. I haven't received my merchandise, and they haven't returned my money to my account.

I called their number 1-800-515-1380 and I can't get through during anytime of the day or night. Voicemail doesn't work either. They won't respond to my emails.

Anyone else have this happened to them?
