HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE! customer service. My experience is just the same as everyone else on this sight. I ordered a helmet gloves and goggles from RG on 12/13/07 this gear was for my six year old son to go with his off road cart he was getting from Santa the gloves and goggles came no helmet it has been 3 months and countless emails and unanswered phone calls later I finally got a call from Russ today. I was told I had to try and get my refund for unshipped product through my own credit card company. Russ sated that this was a chargeback process. As I proceeded to inquire about why a company that charged me for product I did not receive and had my money and there product could not refund my money I was told by Russ that he was done listening to me. When I asked to speak to someone higher than Russ he said there was no one else I could speak to. I became angry and Russ said "Have fun trying to contact us" before hanging up on me. I will be filing a complaint with BBB I suggest everyone do the same

absolute disgrace!!ordered jacket from australia and was charged immediately and email sent saying that jacket would be sent out with 4-6 business days...after numerous emails and international phone calls finally was told that the jacket was unavailable and refund would be submitted and should take 6-10 business days to go through. again, after numerous unanswered emails and lucky to get through to someone via phone calls , had to file dispute through my own credit card company and was reimbursed. whole process took 2 months for what should have been an easy transaction.ridegear should be ashamed to call themselves Americans as they are giving your country a very bad name. perhaps, ridegear owners should go back to cleaning toilets or what ever it is they are good at, as they are definitely not worthy as online traders...

Ordered an Alpinestars leather jacket (closeout) on a Sunday night. Got confirmation email immediately. Card was charged shortly thereafter. The confirmation email states the item will "generally be shipped out within 1-4 days" so total shipping time would be around 1 to 4 days + however long the delivery time is. Got shipment notification and tracking number on Friday and I received the jacket on the following Monday. I live in the same state they ship from. Great price, as advertised, timely shipping, thanks!

The good reviews for this company must be fake.
Ride Gear is the worst. I ordered my Helmet over 1 month ago. They gave me a DHL tracking number so I called DHL.
They said it looks like Ride Gear printed the sticker and never sent the package. I've emailed them several times and tried calling (which is a joke, endless hold).
Believe the bad reviews, pay more and go somewhere else. These guys are flat out thieves.

I am one of the unlucky shoppers at RideGear.com as well. Exactly the same story on my end except I spent over $450 and am still waiting for a refund over 2 weeks with no communication or answers to emails. Same problem with calls being disconnected; long back orders and credit card charged upfront. I filed a BBB complaint and am considering filing for charges with the DA. I think we should ALL file complaints with the DA and/or small claims court to recoup damages. They have until Feb 17,'08 to respond to #61 complaint. If no action then I am taking action. The business is owned by Giovanna Windrose. The address is 121 Dubois Street, Santa Cruz, CA 95060-2108.

RideGear.com has the worst customer service I have ever experienced

Ridegear.com is terrible. I placed an order for a crossbar pad on Jan 20. After no updates in 5 days I sent an email to inquire when it would ship. 5 days later (Jan 30) I get a response they aren't distributing Thor parts and it would probably be a month. I asked them to cancel my order and refund me, but they haven't confirmed it. I've been on hold for over 10 minutes and can't talk to anyone to make sure my order was canceled. Don't deal with these people!!

this company is the truely shocking.
they have a nice website and look pretty professional but its all bullsh*t.
i made the massive mistake of placing an order with them then reading the reviews.
i ordered 3 items from them which all supposedly would be shipped within 24-48hrs. they charged my paypal account immediately. after getting paranoid about all the bad reviews they got i phoned them up after 5 days to enquire about my order. they told me that 1 of the items could not be shipped for 30 days, and by that time it might be out of stock. the rest of the items would supposedly ship in 4-5 days. i asked them why they had charged me and they hung up. they do not reply to any emails and only got my money back after starting a dispute claim with Paypal.
this company suck, read all the positve reviews carefully and they are obviously written my employees.
avoid this company like the plague unless you have money to burn. if you really have to order from them then use paypal or google checkout. at least you can get your money back if something goes wrong

RideGear is a pretty big joke. I placed an order several weeks ago, and after no communication from them, I attempted several times to call/email/etc. them. I got no response, however, I used GoogleCheckout to place my order, so I contacted them. They made several attempts to contact RideGear, with exactly the same luck I had. Google refunded my money to me this morning, and now I don't have to worry about RideGear anymore.

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY! I received the wrong item for Christmas and attempted to call during Christmas week. I got a recording that they were closed for the holidays. This went on until about January 3rd, when you would either get a recording that all service reps were busy and call back later or, even more infuriating, you get a response that the call will be answered in the order its received. Then comes on some elevator music and then a recording that all reps are busy and call back later. Emails are not returned. Their web site says "hassle free returns". NOT TRUE! The worst customer service I have ever experienced.

THEY ARE THE WORST! DO NOT ever shop at this store. I ordered bike gloves from them on Nov 26. They charged my card THAT SAME DAY and its been almost two months and I didn't receive anything. CUSTOMER SERVICE SUCKS!!! Ive been calling them and all i got was a ten minute hold then a message saying that they are busy and call at a different time. I sent them emails asking for my money back and nothing. I asked nicely, politely about my order and still nothing. DO NOT SHOP HERE. All I got from them is a big headache, 70 dollars less on my bank account, and no gloves.

I ordered an ATV cover from these folks and after waiting at least a month I tried to call them and could never get through until I called their order line. After some difficulty finally contacted them, and their response was that, they could no longer supply the product I ordered. They finally supplied a similar product but that item doesn't fit. I would like to return the item but they are nearly impossible to contact, even in the AM when they supposedly open.
I suspect that I will just try and sell the item on E-Bay for a loss as Ridegear.com is a JOKE. I wish I had never ordered from them in the first place, and I wish this site had come to my attention before I placed my original order, as it would have saved me a lot of grief.

I ordered a christmas present for my son on Dec. 17. I haven't gotten anything yet. I sent e-mails which none were responded to I try calling all day long which I can't get through the phones are all busy with other costumers or else they're closed for lunch hour what type of business closes their phone lines for lunch? I would advise anyone to never go through RideGear.

HAVE ALREADY WAITED 3 WEEKS WITH NO SHIPMENT, AND NO UPDATE AS TO WHEN (IF EVER) I WILL RECEIVE MY MERCHANDISE. HOWEVER, MY CREDIT CARD WAS "PROMPTLY" CHARGED IN FULL THE MOMENT I PLACED MY ORDER. I CANNOT GET THROUGH WITH THE NUMBER RIDEGEAR PROVIDES ON THEIR WEB SITE. RIDEGEAR HAS NOT RESPONDED TO MY E-MAILS. MAYBE SOMEDAY I'LL BE "SURPRISED" AND FINALLY GET MY SHIPMENT.

Absolutely horrible customer service, I am still waiting on a sweatshirt that was ordered 3 weeks ago. I have had 2 promised deliveries (said they would ship overnight) but still have not seen the sweatshirt. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!
