Each time their Customer service was excellent,did'nt have to wait on the phone long for a rep. and their available 7 days a week. One of the best companys I've dealt with. catalog was easy to view choices and to find the right measurements. The swatches I received were very helpful in making a choice. The order was shipped faster than I had hoped and the quality of the merchandise was nicer than I had expected. The prices were very fair and I would definetly order from them again. Read more

Not only was no estimate given for how long it would take to ship these shades, which was WEEKS longer than I ever expected, but also I never received notice that it shipped until it had already been delivered! Furthermore, I wasted a lot of time trying to make sense of the installation instructions, on which the diagrams of the brakets did not look at all like the brackets that were sent. When I finally gave up and called customer service (whose hours were also incorrect on the insert), I learned that obsolete instructions were sent, and that the proper instructions would be sent the following business day. Only when I insisted on speaking with a supervisor did I learn that despite what I had just been told, the instructions were in fact accurate, but the brackets that were sent were obsolete. The supervisor said the factory even sent Smith & Noble extra brackets to send customers who called to complain that the brackets didn't fit BECAUSE IT WAS A KNOWN PROBLEM. Why Smith & Noble didn't contact their customers who bought these shades before they wasted time and patience trying to make sense of the incorrect brackets I don't know. Their strategy of sending replacement brackets only to those customers who are so frustrated by the time they call for help and find out that the PROBLEM WAS PREVENTABLE and decide NEVER TO BUY FROM SMITH & NOBLE AGAIN is really a poor decision. Blinds were made too long - took 3 days to get call back from the person who could correct the problem, then they sent out corrected blinds within 3-4 days. Total delay of about a week. Read more

I have always had good experiences with Smith & Noble. Your strong suit is your detailed explanations of how to order with the three-four steps of selecting, measuring etc.

I have been waiting for swatch samples for almost a month now....I have ordered them two times and both times never received them. I like Smith & Noble products if I can ever order them.
