I wandered onto the Spencer Gifts web site when looking for a birthday gift. I already had an idea of what I was going to purchase, but living at a school in a town with virtually no shopping resources, I decided to make the purchase online.

About the same as going to their store ... not too shabby -but some sizes and variety aren't available that I expect, or is that hoped, they'd have. The site is slow to load (for dial up users) but other than that -it is a nice place to shop. A decent presentation of the store.

The customer service team are available with friendly and helpful replies.

Absolutely HORRIBLE customer service. I placed my order on Thursday August 28, and as of today, Sept 13th, I still do not have my order. They refuse to refund shipping, even though there was a computer malfunction on THEIR part.

Spencers needs to step up on their ordering process. Going forward, I will order from Amazon. Spencers online is NOT a good bet.
