Very disappointed that at this time and age it takes over 2 days to process an order. I'm used to online E-tailors getting the order out by AT LEAST the next business day. The wine selection is OK, however I can find most of our local wines they have on the site for less at our local grocery store, and that doesn't include shipping charges.
Because it took 3 business days just to ship the order I will not use them again. It shouldn't take 9 business days to receive an order in this time and age.

The website mistakenly submitted my order x3, without any confirmation from me. After 3 calls to customer service, I got the extra orders canceled, however had not received a refund over a month later. After 2 more calls and several emails, I finally received the appropriate refund - only to find out that one product I ordered (monthly wine club) as a gift had not been received. When the person called about the gift, she was told the order had been canceled. I am still in the process of either getting a refund, or getting the merchandise delivered. At this point, I will take whatever is quicker, as my initial order was placed 2 months ago. Although I love the wine offerings available, I will never shop at wine.com again. Even if they had ever apologized or offered a discount in compensation.
Very pleased with the service and quality. Of course, this is from the recipients, our parents and our daughter (in college who rec'd the chocolates and wine). We are stationed in Germany and this was the perfect way to send the perfect gifts! All were very pleased and enjoyed the gift baskets. Biggest problem with wine.com is items being out of stock. I've had to be creative a few times but was never forced to go elsewhere when I want to buy wine to have shipped to someone. Read more
I waited 2 weeks and did not receive my wine. I tried to track the UPS # my account listed and was informed that it did not exist. When I contacted the company I was very upset, however the customer service represenative was very calm and listened to my problem. Two new bottles were shiped out on the same day and we received them the next week. I felt that the customer service was excellent and would not hesitate to order from them again. The Holiday gift basket was damaged durning delivery and returned back to wine.com. No one from wine.com contacted or reshipped prior to my call 5 days later. As a result the Holiday basket was out of stock however they replaced it with a higher value item and shipped it out in time. I had to wait on hold for CS for 20 minutes but in the end it was worth it- so I'm told they loved the gift. Read more
