many places only have gift baskets at high price points - Wine.com always has several at lower prices and they remeber all my information so sending a yearly gift is a very easy process

here is what could have made this a much better experience - I was wanting to order a combined high-end champagne and chocolate from Godiva. But, there was no way to combine into a package other than me to get them shipped to myself and do it myself. So, it didn't look as nice as it should for $175 for each gift I gave... for that much, it shouldn't be so much work.

Apart from a server connection error message on the first attempt at shopping online with this merchant I would rate them as excellent - from product selection variety, through online shopping, payment and delivery page processes, to order shipping and delivery (right on time for Christmas!). We shopped in Auckland NZ for NZ wines to send to our new son-in-law in Michigan, USA. What a hassle-free and convenient way to shop!!! Thanks Wine.com.

This was a very effective way to send a Christmas present from myself in England to family in California. Delivery was made on schedule with no damages. I may now have set a precedent for future years!
Only downside for me is that I now receive constant emails re special offers which I am not interested in.
