Pros: Saves me TIME Cons: Not all items are in stock
A friend of mine told me about simondelivers which is an online grocery service. She said she had started to use this company and was very pleased with them. She is a mother of two children in elementary school, works full time and has active boys....
Pros: bulk groceries delivered to your door Cons: Weak selection, you don't get everything you ordered.
One of the disadvantages of living in Manhattan is the relative dearth of typical American grocery stores. You know, the giant overflowing cornucopias with miles of aisles, food products stretching as far as the eye can see. In New York, where real...
Pros: met delivery time, good prices Cons: selection and information is completely lacking
I can live with their quirky delivery schedule, I can live with their prices, but the selection is far too limited. For a service driven industry in a service dependent town, YourGrocer just isn't showing me what it takes to succeed in Manhattan. I'm...
Pros: Convenience, low shipping charges; delivery schedule varies Cons: Expensive; must buy in bulk only; need $50 min. to order
I just recently placed an order for over $120.00 and did so within 25 minutes. I found the site easy to understand and my shopping was painless to say the least. It saved me that dreaded trip to Sam's Club. However, I did find that even though they only...
I selected them initially because they seemed cheap and the delivery is a flat $5 fee. I looked at Netgrocer, but they are more expensive all around although they do have a better selection. However, I do not recommend this service to any body. This is...
Pros: Prices, Flexible Delivery by Real People Cons: No Sunday Deliveries
I order from YourGrocer.com once per month, which saves me a trip out to the suburbs to go to Costco or BJs (which would require renting a car). They seem to carry only the top brands in each category but there are a lot of categories and, for the...
Get ready for trouble - missing items, billing problems, unfulfilled promises by mickid ,Feb 20 '07
Never again! The concept is excellent and the website well designed and easy to navigate. But the execution is poor, unreliable and possibly fraudulent. My last four orders have resulted in missing items every time, usually expensive items like razor blades, etc. They have only hit their delivery time window once and redeliveries promised for missing items have never happened, despite repeated promises. To add to the frustration, it is a nightmare to get them to refund money for incorrect items delivered. I keep giving this service second and third chances because of the potential for convenience, but I have not had anything but problems with the last four orders. I have learned my lesson, though it took a long time.
